Core skills

20 lessons (15 hours) per week of general English In the General English lessons, with a focus on improving the 4 key skill areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Each week, classes will be designed around a specific topic and you will build your understanding of the language and learn how to use your skills through the following areas: linguistic resource and awareness, communication skills, study skills, cultural and personal development skills.

In New York City

You’ll be based at the University of Mount Saint Vincent where you will enjoy 15 hours of English language tuition and and have at least one trip into Manhattan included each week.

Residential accommodation on site includes halfboard meals (breakfast and lunch daily).

Based in the buzzing and diverse area of Riverdale, the campus has stunning views onto the Hudson.

Facilities include an on-site canteen, student lounge, indoor athletic center, scenic soccer pitch, and various other courts and pitches.
