Kings Apartments

Brand new in July 2016 and for exclusive use of Kings London students, the Apartments offer flexibility depending on the needs and budget of each student. They are 15 minutes' walk from the College and they have been purpose built to a high-end residential standard.

Students can choose:

  • Single bedrooms in apartments of maximum 3 people, sharing bathroom and communal spaces
  • Twin/double bedrooms in apartments of maximum 4 people, sharing bathroom and communal spaces
  • Ensuite single or twin/double rooms in apartments sharing communal spaces
  • 1-bedroom apartments with single or twin/double occupancy

Facilities

  • Fully-fitted modern kitchens and bathrooms
  • Some apartments with balconies
  • Bed linen provided
  • Weekly cleaning of apartment communal spaces
  • Security entry system
  • Free wireless internet
  • Bike storage

Minimum age: 18

Student houses

Our student houses in London provide all the comforts of a traditional home plus the excitement of independent living. They are located in a safe neighbourhood that is just 5–20 minutes’ walk from Kings London, and have great transport links into central London. Student houses are available for bookings of 12 weeks or more.

Homestay Half-board

Our homestays are all very carefully selected and regularly inspected by our experienced Accommodation Officers.

We have strong, long-term relationships with many local hosts including working families, couples, single people and retired people. All our hosts offer a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation.

Included in the price:

  • Single rooms year-round. Twins are available during the Summer period
  • Breakfast and dinner (pre-paid lunch also available Monday–Friday, supplement applies)
  • Fully furnished room
  • Bed linen provided
  • Internet usage
  • One laundry wash per week

Average location from college: Up to 30 minutes' walk or short bus ride.

Please note:

  • Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday
  • Bedding is provided but you should bring your own towels.

Not available for students on the Discover London course at London South Bank.

Homestay Extra

With Homestay Extra you get all the facilities of our normal Homestay plus a few extra home comforts, including a private bathroom or shower room.

Included in the price:

  • Large, well-furnished bedroom
  • Double bed
  • Television in the bedroom
  • Private bathroom or shower room
  • Bed linen provided
  • Half-board, breakfast and dinner included (pre-paid lunch also available Monday–Friday, supplement applies)

London South Bank Summer Residence (Discover London course)

Available for students studying on the Discover London course located at our Central London South Bank summer campus. Rooms with en suite bathrooms are arranged in flats with 5–8 rooms sharing a communal kitchen/ common room area.

The residence is open from 25 June to 27 August 2017.

Curfews for under 18s

Students under 18 must be back at their accommodation (residence or homestay) by designated times each evening.

The following curfews apply:

Students aged 16–17: 10.30pm

Students aged 14–15: 9.30pm
