Teaching days, by location

  • Bath, Brighton, London (South Bank), Cheltenham: Thursday – Monday (morning or afternoon lessons)
  • London (Farringtons): Thursday – Monday (morning lessons)
  • Malibu, New York: Thursday, Saturday, Monday OR Thursday, Friday, Sunday (two possible shifts)

English lessons

Your child will be tested on arrival and placed in the right class for their age and English ability.

We offer 6 levels, from Beginner to Advanced.

Learning is through engaging and fun activities including projects, games, and group work. These encourage confidence, collaboration and, of course, communication.

The syllabus includes:

  • Language input and language practice
  • UK or US culture lessons
  • Excursion preparation/ follow-up lessons
  • Online safety classes
  • Project lessons

There is also a weekly review of materials studied.

Sports and activities

  • Full programme of organised activities (day-time and evenings), mostly on campus.

Summer Plus:
Specialist options

At many UK residential summer camps you can choose additional options to make our standard Summer Course even more special for your child.

For an additional supplement they will have an extra 6 to 12 hours each week.

Please note: specialist add-on programmes are subject to minimum number of students.


Horse Riding

Your child will receive tuition at a local approved stable in walking, trotting, cantering, jumping, hacking and horse management (according to level).

Tennis

A professional tennis coach helps your child with ball skills, serving, developing match play techniques, skills and fitness. This takes place on site.

Performing Arts

Your child will improve their English whilst learning and practising specialist Performing Arts skills. They will have the opportunity to take part in the creation of a short musical or play as well as take part in professional-led workshops.

  • 9 hours of performing arts (three times a week for 3 hours)

Harry Potter

This 2-week course includes classes in magic, wizardry and a study of Harry Potter characters.

Your child will go on a Harry Potter trail in Oxford including Christchurch College and the Bodleian library.

They will also attend Harry Potter movie night, a themed disco and quiz plus a visit to the Harry Potter set at Warner Brothers Studio, London.

Football
