Your child’s learning goals are as unique as they are.
They might want a general summer experience combining English with sports, activities and excursions.
Or perhaps they are looking for a more specialist course or a programme which will prepare them for future academic study.
Whatever course they choose, they will receive the same high quality teaching.
At all locations, there are 15 one-hour lessons per week of general English in international classes.
Students will be tested on arrival and placed in the right class for their level and age.
Kings focuses on developing the main language skills, particularly speaking and listening in the classroom.
Lessons will vary in focus and include lessons on UK/US culture, excursion preparation and follow up, study skills, and there is also a weekly project done in class on one of the following areas:
- Environment and climate change
- Mindfulness and wellbeing
- Digital life
- Equality and diversity
Their lessons will often include games, songs, group work, films, projects and magazine work to make learning more fun.
At the end of their course, students will receive a certificate of attendance (provided they attend 90% + of lessons) and a report to mark their learning and achievement.
