Students will reside in purpose-built 'cottages'.

  • There are 2 twin bedded rooms per cottage, each with a bathroom (ratio 1 bathroom: 2 students)
  • 2 cottages share a comfortable veranda with table and chairs
  • All cottages are air conditioned.
  • Boys and girls will be housed in separate cottages.

Meal plan

Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided every day.

Lunch and dinner are usually hot and there is usually a choice of two main courses; on excursion days students are given a packed lunch.

Bottled water is also supplied to students.

Special dietary requirements

Summer Course

15 hours of English lessons per week (3 x 1 hour lessons x 5 days per week) including lessons on soft skills with beach and bush craft, as well as a weekly topic on either environment, mindfulness, equality and diversity or British Pop culture.

There is also a full programme of sports, activities and excursions.

Typical activities

Students benefit from a full weekly activity program.

Activities include American football, arts and crafts, basketball, baseball, bingo, casino night, dance, disco, dodgeball, fashion show, games night, karaoke, mini-Olympics, movie night, quiz nights, soccer, table tennis, talent show and volleyball.

Typical excursions

Full day:

  • Rome, with various tours, including the Vatican, Ancient Rome and walking, churches and fountain tours
  • Maremma nature park
  • Pitigliano historic town (also known as Little Jerusalem) and relaxing thermal baths
  • Cerveteri waterfall

Half day:

  • Civita di Bagnoregio, the ruins of an old city as well as a modern new city
  • Bolsena: with a medieval fortress, a Renaissance palace and a Miracle Chapel
  • Viterbo: also known as the City of the Popes and the City of Thermal Baths
  • Romitori del Fiora: with rooms carved into the rock, made to host ther hermits. includes a refreshing swim in the river!
