Xin Sun and Xinyi Xu, both from Shanghai, are preparing to transfer from the University of Mount Saint Vincent to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Drawn by the strong reputation of the U.S. education system, Xin chose to pursue a Business degree to support a future family business, while Xinyi selected Communication to follow her interest in media and media studies. UW–Madison stood out to both students for its academic excellence and high rankings.
Throughout the transfer process, both students received dedicated support from their Kings Student Success advisors. From academic planning and application guidance to building college lists and managing I-20 transfers, Kings played an important role in helping Xin and Xinyi successfully navigate each step of their transfer journey.
As they begin this exciting new chapter, Xin looks forward to reconnecting with friends already at UW–Madison, while Xinyi is eager to experience a new campus and build new connections. Kings is incredibly proud of Xin and Xinyi for their hard work and achievements and looks forward to seeing them continue to grow, succeed, and thrive in their future academic and professional journeys.
