Cheng Yang and Xuanyu Wang

This month we would like to give a big congratulations to two of our GO:Prepared students who have been accepted to New York University! These two students came from China to Kings New York to strengthen their English and confidence in order to make a smooth transition into university life. After successfully completing the GO:Prepared program they started their studies at the University of Mount Saint Vincent where they were able to lay a strong foundation. Their next stop is NYU where they will continue their studies at a prestigious university.

Cheng Yang, is currently studying Data Analytics at the University of Mount Saint Vincent. With the tools he gained from Kings New York and UMSV, he will be able to make a smooth transition to NYU pursuing Supply Chain Management. Cheng gave a piece of advice to future international students, he says, “Communicate more with Kings because they really can help you.” Cheng worked with our Student Success Advisors at Kings to make his dream a reality. We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication he has shown!

After strengthening his English and academic abilities, Xuanyu Wang (Sean), was able to set his mind to a clear goal. He was able to achieve this goal with the strong academic and cultural support from the advisors at Kings New York. Sean will be majoring in Information Technology (IT) when he transfers to NYU. Sean came to the U.S. for the endless opportunities and he has shown that hard work and dedication can pay off. He has earned his place at one of the world’s leading universities and we are so proud of him
