Boarding provision for students aged under 18, in homestay and residential accommodation, was inspected on 5–7 October 2016.

Kings Bournemouth – Ofsted report – October 2018

All Kings Bournemouth sites were inspected with a day's notice and over the period of three days by Ofsted in October 2018.

The Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (Ofsted) is the official body for inspecting schools in the UK. Inspectors visit schools, sit in lessons, view student work, speak to students, teachers, management and parents and rate the school on the basis of their findings. Ratings go from Outstanding down to Inadequate (Outstanding - 1, Good - 2, Requires improvement - 3, Inadequate - 4).
