Students are counselled and Offers made based on the formal tariff agreement between Kings and the university.
On successful completion of their studies at Kings, students can progress to Solent University to continue their degree studies.
About Solent
Formed in 2005 through mergers between Southampton College of Art, the College of Technology and the College of Nautical Studies, Solent University is based at sites across the centre of Southampton. The university has invested in immersive learning settings for its diverse courses. These range from the UK’s largest ship and port simulation centre at its Warsash Maritime School, a new Human Health Lab replicating a medical ward and an Anatomage table, and virtual production stage equipment for courses across CGI, computer gaming and the digital arts.

- Solent oversees the Warsash Maritime Academy, one of the world’s leading maritime education institutes. In addition to the maritime faculty, the university is divided into these faculties: the school of art, design and fashion, the school of business, law and communications, the school of media, arts and technology, and the school of sport, health and social sciences.
- For the start of the 2016/17 academic year, Solent opened its new £33 million Spark building. It was part of a £100 million investment by the university in its facilities between 2010 and 2020.
