The University is based in the beautiful riverside town of Kingston upon Thames, just 25 minutes from the centre of London. It operates four faculties, including its art and design school - Kingston School of Art - which holds particular international renown. Kingston alumni have gained senior positions in global fashion companies including Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Paul Smith, All Saints, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent. Graduates with successful own labels include Sophie Hulme, Joshua Kane, and Charli Cohen.

  • Kingston comprises four different campuses: Kingston Hill, Penrhyn Road , Knights Park and Roehampton Vale.
  • The University is number two for graduate business start-ups in the UK (Higher Education Statistics Agency HESA 2017).
  • Kingston has the third-largest engineering faculty in London, with its own Learjet and a flight simulator to support its highly regarded aeronautical engineering courses.
  • Other specialist facilities include a Bloomberg trading room, animation studios, a Moot courtroom, digital media workshops, a photography suite and printmaking studio.
  • The University is investing £260 million over the next 9 years, which includes £26 million on new Business School building.
