The students of today are the potential leaders of tomorrow, whether in business, sport, politics, or any other aspect of work or society.

This course gives young people a chance to learn about and explore the skills needed for their future lives, through the global language of today.

As well as the knowledge and skills they will develop, students will practise and improve their English, becoming more confident at communicating with people from around the world.

Learning

Students will learn about:

  • - leaders and leadership styles
  • - what motivates people
  • - building resilience

Developing

Students will improve:

  • - their own communication and collaboration skills
  • - their ability to listen, debate and negotiate
  • - their ability to analyse and think critically
  • - their confidence

Achieving

In addition, students will prepare for a Trinity College London exam in spoken English.

Doing

Students will:

  • - plan and deliver presentations
  • - do research and case studies
  • - create a social media campaign or business plan
  • - manage a project
  • - work as part of a team
