Naheemat Mustapha studied the Advanced Level Foundation before winning a place to study Architecture at the University of Edinburgh.
"I took a whole semester in Art and Design (at Kings) and I think I would have been much worse off if I hadn’t done that. Most things were quite new. At Kings we had to keep a portfolio, a sketchbook portfolio, and here we have to make a portfolio at the end. It helps to keep one throughout though, and I got used to doing that at Kings.
Kings was my first experience of being with people from all countries. I feel like you need that a bit before you come here (to university). I’m so used to the Nigerian way of thinking, it was good to be in an international environment!"
