Melanie did A-levels at Kings before winning a place at the UCL to study Economics.
"After spending two years at Kings Oxford, I’ve learnt that it’s almost always better to stay outside of your comfort zone. Despite being a massive introvert at the start of the year, I pushed myself to get to know as many people as possible by attending extracurriculars (Kings Radio!) or simply talking to new friends during lunch breaks. I’ve managed to gain so many new and meaningful connections and get a better insight into cultural differences thanks to Kings’ international environment.
UCL is one of the top universities in the world, so studying here means I’ll get a chance to share my economics interests with other top students around the world and learn from top-quality academic staff. This will hopefully help broaden my economics knowledge while also learning more about different cultures from my peers."
