The Roger McMahon Scholarship
Inviting new applicants

Roger's legacy
in international

Roger McMahon was an exceptional man. He made an unrivalled contribution to international education, particularly in creating opportunities for students from his beloved “second home” of Kazakhstan.

After Roger’s death in 2019, as part of his legacy the Scholarship which bears his name was established by his friends and colleagues.

It is awarded each year to exceptional Kazakh students.

Danel beat off competition from over 150 students and has joined Kings Brighton to study A-Levels. In these changing times, she received her award during an online presentation from Kings colleagues: Andrew Hutchinson, Director, Lucy Cattermole, Regional Director and Paul Ridler, Regional Manager.

Danel commented:

“I wanted to express my gratitude for the opportunity I was given! I...can’t really believe this is happening...I am exhilarated by the prospect of attending Kings and seeing new places!”
