A taster of life as a student in the UK

The Mini High School Programme at Kings is a 4, 6 or 8 week integration course that offers international students the opportunity to experience the British education system in a short academic setting.

The programme supports development in English and academic subjects within an international school environment.

Students follow a British curriculum in small class sizes, ensuring personalised attention and a supportive learning experience.

Who is this programme for?

  • Students who would like a taster experience of studying within the British education system
  • Students who want to develop their English alongside academic subject study
  • Students who are serious about their academic achievement and may be considering completing their studies in the UK

Why choose a Mini High School Programme?

All our teachers are subject specialists.

Many hold a second degree or equivalent qualification, including PhD.

There are small classes - usually of no more than 10 students - with mixed nationalities.

This means plenty of one-to-one contact with your teacher.

Our specialist support team ensures every student develops and grows — academically, personally and socially.

You'll have a weekly meeting with your personal tutor. We'll work on your individual learning plan with outcomes based on your abilities and goals.

Learn more about the specialist support

You will follow a mixed curriculum including science, mathematics and humanities subjects.

The programme includes Academic English Preparation. This is tailored to your specific language level.

It gives you the intellectual and linguistic skills required for academic study.

Learning outside the classroom is crucial.

The Academic Enrichment Programme helps you become a well-rounded, culturally adjusted student who can go on to thrive in whatever academic route you take.

It includes creative arts, physical education, and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) to develop personal and social skills.
