Medical Foundation
The Kings Medical Foundation course is a one-year pathway to Medical School for international students.
- Based on A-level syllabuses and taught by A-level teachers at the same level as A-levels
- Students study Biology, Chemistry and Maths (Strong students are allowed to take an extra module of Further Maths)
- Additional modules specifically designed for university and medical students
We have special articulation agreements with Aston University, University of Bristol, Keele University, the University of Buckingham, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University of Auckland (NZ), Monash University in Melbourne, University of Nicosia in Cyprus, St. George's University and UCLan.
The Kings Medical Foundation provides students who want to pursue a degree in Medicine in the UK with the preparation and support they need to access Medical degrees at these universities.

Foundation
- If you are an international student you can take our 3-term Advanced Level Foundation.
- You will need to have completed 11 years of secondary education in your country. You will also need an English level of IELTS of 5.5 or equivalent.
- You will study two core modules (Communication and Study Skills and IT). You will study specialist modules in Maths and Sciences.
