On 19th September, a group of Kings students had the exciting opportunity to attend the Oxford University Open Day— one of the most prestigious universities in the world, renowned for its academic excellence and history of producing global leaders, innovators, and Nobel Prize winners.
Oxford is home to countless notable alumni, including Stephen Hawking, Malala Yousafzai, and 30+ UK Prime Ministers. The university is also internationally recognised for its pioneering research and teaching in STEM subjects, making it a dream destination for many aspiring scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.
During the visit, our students were able to:
- Speak directly with current Oxford students and gain insights into their academic journeys.
- Explore different departments and discover the wide range of courses on offer.
- Experience first-hand the atmosphere of university life at one of the world’s top institutions.
The day was both inspiring and informative, giving our students a clear vision of the exciting opportunities that lie ahead in higher education.
