Graduation Highlights 2025: Kings Bournemouth & Kings Oxford

Graduation season is always a special time at Kings — a moment to reflect, celebrate, and look ahead. On 13th June, Kings Oxford and Kings Bournemouth celebrated their Graduation Days alongside staff, families, and friends, marking the end of an important chapter in their students’ educational journeys.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all students who have completed their exams and are now preparing for their next steps.

Kings Oxford Graduation
At Kings Oxford, the day was filled with warmth, pride, and emotion. The celebration began with the Gale Scale raffle — a creative prize draw based on attendance and academic performance. The higher the attendance percentage, the more raffle entries students received. Prizes included Beats headphones, a portable power bank, a backpack, and a suitcase.

Students were then presented with their Course Completion Certificates, followed by special awards such as the Kings Spirit Award, Most Improved, and Kings Contribution Award, all recognising personal growth and exceptional contributions to school life.

After the ceremony, students gathered outside for the traditional hat toss photo before enjoying a relaxed BBQ in the garden at St. Joseph’s. Each graduate received a rose, a certificate, and a small goody bag — a thoughtful way to close this milestone occasion.

Kings Bournemouth Graduation
At Kings Bournemouth, the celebration was equally memorable. Students were recognised for their academic and personal achievements through a series of course and subject awards, with the highlight being the prestigious Principal’s Award.

This year, the award was presented to an exceptional student, Judah Segal. His father, Solomon Segal, described the school community as “an extended family.” In the words of Judah’s mother, Michelle: “Judah thrived at Kings. He came out of his shell — we got the old Judah back.”

Judah achieved excellent GCSE results, including a Grade 9 in English. He was the school’s goalkeeper, a mentor to younger students, and was elected Co-President of the Student Council. His growth, leadership, and impact made him a clear and deserving recipient of the Principal’s Award.

The atmosphere throughout the day was one of celebration and gratitude, as students, staff, and families came together to recognise the dedication and progress made over the year. A garden BBQ created the perfect setting for laughter, heartfelt farewells, and shared memories — with families joining both in person and virtually from around the world.

Looking Ahead
We are incredibly proud of all our graduates from the Class of 2025. Your resilience, creativity, and commitment have been an inspiration to the entire Kings community. As you move forward into new academic and personal journeys, we wish you every success.
