Christmas cheer at the Kings London school fete

Father Christmas spotted at Kings London

Kings London recently hosted a fantastic Christmas fete, organised and run by the Student Council.

The event had several aims: raising money for charity, increasing awareness of TheirWorld, bringing the school community together, and showing how teamwork can make a real difference — all while having plenty of festive fun.

The Student Council planned eight activities, including cake and gingerbread decorating, Secret Santa, Christmas card making, a wheel of prizes, and writing letters or cards for residents of a local elderly care home. Council members created and staffed each stand throughout the event.

In the weeks leading up to the fete, students took turns promoting the event during lunchtimes and selling tokens, which could then be exchanged at the various stalls.

The fete was officially opened by Santa — Alex, our UCAS Coordinator — who spent the day handing out sweets and generally spreading Christmas cheer!
