One-year Foundation pathway
You will follow the specialist Kings Advanced Level Foundation. This is based on A-level and taught by A-level teachers.
You will study Biology or Chemistry, plus a minimum of one further Science (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics) along with the compulsory subjects of Data Handling/Statistics and Communication/Study Skills. Any other subject is acceptable as the third option, with the exception of Further Maths.
Two-year A-level pathway
You will study Biology and Chemistry at A-level, as well as either Maths or Physics.
St.George's University of London entry criteria
For the MBBS at St.George's, students will need to complete two years of A-levels with us.
- Academic: A Level AAA
(Including Biology &

- English: IELTS 7.0 overall with 7.0 in Writing and 6.5 in all other components
For degrees in Allied Health Sciences (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diagnostic Radiotherapy and Radiotherapy & Oncology)*:
- Academic: Advanced Level Foundation with a minimum of 60% overall including at least one Science; A-levels with grades BBB, including one science.
- English: no need for IELTS if our CSS module is passed with overall 70% and at least 70%
in writing and 65% in
other 3 components

For degrees in Life Sciences (Biomedical Science and Clinical Pharmacology)*:
- Academic: Advanced Level Foundation with a minimum of 60% overall including Biology for Biomedical Science and Biology or Chemistry for Clinical Pharmacology; A-levels with grades BBB, including one science.
- English: no need for IELTS if our CSS module is passed with overall 65% and at least 65% in writing and 60% in other 3 components
