Kings Olympiad: inviting applicants for 2023

The Kings / Pathway Study Abroad Olympiad marks life-changing moments in the journeys of Kings students.

The Kings Changing Lives scholarships are awarded to English speaking East African students who demonstrate exceptional ability, potential and commitment to their education.

Registrations are open until the 30th of June 2023.

The scholarship can be applied to A-Level or Foundation courses at Kings in Brighton, Bournemouth, London or Oxford leading to Medicine, Art, Architecture, Law, Business, Science and Engineering amongst other degrees. There will be two prize categories for the Olympiad:

• The First prize will receive 50% scholarship on tuition fees for an A-level course or 40% scholarship for a Foundation
• Second Prize will get a 40% scholarship on A-levels or 30% on Foundation

Note: Accommodation and other fees are payable by the student.

Who is eligible:

Students from any English-speaking East African countries who have completed 10 years of schooling or recent high school graduates are eligible.

Age limit: between 15 to 21

Stages of the competition:

The competition will be run in 3 stages:

1. Students will be required to submit their latest high school transcripts and copy of passport data page. Deadline: 30th June 2023
2. Students who are successful from stage 1 will be asked to attend an interview: week commencing 3rd July 2023.
3. For the final stage, students will be asked to present on a topic: week commencing 10th July 2023
