Two pathways from Kings to Bristol

At admissions stage we will advise you about the best programme to prepare you for a degree at the University of Bristol.

You can choose to enrol at any one of our colleges in Brighton, London, Oxford and Bournemouth.

You can choose:

  • 1-year Advanced Level Foundation programme

University of Bristol enrichment programme

In addition to your Kings classes, regardless of the course you choose, you will have a regular programme of interaction and experience with the University. This includes:

Termly visits to the University of Bristol

1-year Foundation pathway

Engineering

  • Aerospace & Civil: 77%
  • Mechanical & Electrical: 75% overall with 75% in Mathematics, plus 65% Communication and Study Skills

Humanities & Social Sciences

  • 60% overall plus 65% Communication and Study Skills

Economics, Accounting & Management

  • Economics: 70%
  • Accounting: 65% overall, with 75% in Mathematics Accounting 65% overall, with 75% in Mathematics

International Business

  • 65% overall plus 65% Communication and Study Skills

Law

  • 70% overall plus 65% Communication and Study Skills
  • Please note that all applicants for Law must take the Law National Admissions Test (LNAT)

Life & Health Sciences

  • 60 - 65% overall with specific subject requirements for specific programmes plus 65% Communication and Study Skills

Maths, Computing & Sciences

  • 70% - 75% overall with 75% in Mathematics plus 65% Communication and Study Skills

Bristol entry requirements

A-level students will need to have an English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each category).
