Wavy Gate premium student residence

Our brand new premium residence features spacious single, en suite bedrooms in a contemporary building. It is located in Oxford’s vibrant student area of Cowley, with many cafes, bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and a supermarket just 2 minutes’ walk away. There are on-site kitchen and laundry facilities, plus a live-in warden. The residence is a 15-minute walk from St. Josephs campus (less than 10 minutes by bicycle) and 25 minutes on foot to St. Michaels campus and the city centre.

Meal options: Self-catering or half-board. Half-board is breakfast and lunch Monday – Friday (10 meals per week). Meals are provided in the cafeteria at St. Josephs campus.

Our student houses in Oxford provide all the comforts of a traditional home plus the excitement of independent living. They are located in safe, friendly neighbourhoods, close to shops and transport links, a short bus ride or walk from the College (up to 30 minutes) and offer spacious single bedrooms and communal living and dining areas.

Crescent Hall summer residence

Crescent Hall offers modern accommodation with excellent facilities. It is less than 2 minutes' walk from our St. Josephs campus and 20 minutes by bus from St. Michaels campus. Single rooms are grouped in self-contained apartments of 6 study bedrooms, each with 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms.

Homestay Half-board

Our homestays are all very carefully selected and regularly inspected by our experienced Accommodation Officers.

We have strong, long-term relationships with many local hosts including working families, couples, single people and retired people. All our hosts offer a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation. 

Included in the price:

  • Single rooms year-round. Twins are available during the summer period
  • Breakfast and dinner (pre-paid lunch also available Monday–Friday, supplement applies)
  • Fully furnished room
  • Bed linen provided
  • Internet usage
  • One laundry wash per week

Average distance from college: Up to 30 minutes, on foot or by public transport.

Please note:

  • Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday
  • Bedding is provided but you should bring your own towels.

Curfews for students under 18

Students under 18 must be back at their accommodation (residence or homestay) by designated times each evening.

The following curfews apply:

  • Students aged 16–17: 10.30pm
  • Students aged 14–15: 9.30pm
