The custom designed on-site accommodation offers single, en suite rooms with high quality facilities. Students also have access to a communal TV lounge for recreation. The on-site cafeteria means that students benefit from catered accommodation, although basic kitchen facilities are also provided.

This is brand new refurbished accommodation in six single rooms with six bathrooms on four floors. It is 10-12 minutes' walk from the College and within easy reach of the train station and a wide range of shops and eateries.

Springfield Road Student House

This newly refurbished house consists of six single rooms with private bathrooms, on four floors. It is approximately 10 minutes' walk from Kings Brighton, in the Preston Park area, in close proximity to the train station, local bus services to the city centre, shops and restaurants.

Phoenix Halls Residence (Summer only)

Phoenix Halls Residence is part of the University of Brighton halls of residence. It offers comfortable accommodation just 3 minutes' walk from Kings Brighton.

All rooms are single with private bathroom and students share a kitchen/ lounge where they can cook meals. Students who do not want to cook can eat at the Kings Brighton cafeteria, plus there is a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and bars just minutes away.

Britannia Student Residence

Britannia Student Residence is a modern accommodation facility, recently redeveloped and fitted to a high specification, and ideally located in central Brighton. Approximately 22 minutes' walk from Kings Brighton, it is also in close proximity to many useful amenities such as the beach, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The area is well served by the local bus service.

All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and are fully furnished with double bed, laptop safe, desk, and storage space. There is also an onsite cafeteria serving breakfast for an additional fee.

The Britannia Student Residence is shared with students from other schools and local universities.

Homestay Half-board

Our homestays are all very carefully selected and regularly inspected by our experienced Accommodation Officers.

We have strong, long-term relationships with many local hosts including working families, couples, single people and retired people. All our hosts offer a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation.

Included in the price:

  • Single rooms year-round. Twins are available during the summer period
  • Fully furnished room
  • Bed linen provided
  • Internet usage
  • One laundry wash per week
  • Breakfast and dinner (pre-paid lunch also available Monday–Friday, supplement applies)

Average distance from college: Up to 30 minutes, on foot or by public transport.

Please note:

  • Accommodation is available from Sunday to Sunday
  • Bedding is provided but students should bring their own towels

Curfews for under 18s

Students under 18 must be back at their accommodation (residence or homestay) by designated times each evening.

The following curfews apply:

Students aged 16–17: 10.30pm

Students aged 14–15: 9.30pm
