They take the program over two years and it includes:
Yanping High School was founded as a university in 1946, immediately after WWII and the end of the Japanese rule and it came to be known as the first college in Taiwan opened by the Taiwanese.
It was closed down after a term amidst political unrest and it reopened in 1948 as a high school.
The School moved to its current location in 1953 and at the time it was surrounded by water fields so its newly built two-story building was nicknamed the "Palace on the Water". Today there are no water fields as the Daan District is one of the most prestigious and central parts of Taipei.
Its founders worked hard to make it into the success it is today, one of the top high schools in Taiwan and among the best private high schools in the country.
Yanping aims to offer as much as possible of its space to its students learning. The School has a fully-equipped campus, with indoor sports hall and outdoor courts, an auditorium, science labs and classrooms.
