Introduce yourself! Who are you? Where are you from and what are you studying career-wise?
I'm Victor Marin from Lima, Peru. I'm an undergraduate medical student who would like to be a Paediatrician.
Why did you choose Kings?
I chose Kings because it's such a perfect place to reinforce and practice my English skills.
How did you find the school environment?
My mom is an English teacher, and she has a friend who recommended her to experience Kings. I actually attended Kings alongside two of my siblings!
What was the best thing about Los Angeles?
It has so many touristic spots around Kings. I particularly enjoyed The Getty, Santa Monica, National History Museum, and USC campus. The public transportation is great and has good fares.
Was it easy to make friends?
Absolutely! I like making new friends and exploring their cultures too.
What would you tell someone who was thinking of coming to Kings?
It's the best option to study and practice your English and will definitely help you improving your English skills!
Victor also took part in Kings’ cultural exchange tradition, where he presented his final project on his home country of Peru and its renowned alpacas. We love seeing our students share their cultures and experiences with the Kings community!
