Meet Charlottie!
All the way from Taiwan, Charlottie has brought her vibrant energy and love of learning to Kings Boston, where she’s studying for three months. With a master’s degree in the Institute of Learning Science and Technology, Charlottie has big plans for her future in the programming industry—but right now, she’s making the most of her time in Boston. One of her favorite spots in the city? Newbury Street. In the photo above, you can see Charlottie taking in the charm of this iconic location. She recommends it to fellow students as the perfect place to pick up gifts for family, grab a delicious meal, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Since arriving at Kings, Charlottie has made many friends from around the world. Mealtimes are always social; she enjoys eating with her new friends on the second floor of the Fisher HI Boston residence, where Kings residents can come together daily. She also enjoys spending time with her roommate—who, by chance, is also from Taiwan—making her stay feel even more like home.
Charlottie is quick to point out that the friendly atmosphere at Kings isn’t just among students. “The teachers are so good,” she says, appreciating the supportive and welcoming environment that Kings Boston is known for. When choosing where to study in the U.S., Charlottie picked Boston because of its reputation for being safe, friendly, and student-focused—a decision she’s glad she made.
After completing her course, Charlottie plans to return to Taiwan and pursue a career in programming. With her passion for learning and positive attitude, we’re sure she’ll go far!
