Global Recycling Week Board at Kings Brighton

Students at Kings Brighton took part in activities for Global Recycling Week, using the opportunity to think more about sustainability and everyday habits that can help protect the planet.

To mark the week, students contributed to an interactive recycling board designed to encourage everyone to take a second look at the things we often throw away. The goal was to show how small actions can make a positive difference for both our environment and daily lives.

Students shared practical ways they reduce, reuse, and recycle in their everyday routines. Ideas ranged from using reusable water bottles and shopping bags to repurposing old items instead of throwing them away.

The activity created a fun and engaging way for students to exchange ideas while raising awareness about sustainability and responsible consumption.

Through initiatives like this, Kings Brighton encourages students to think globally and develop habits that contribute to a more sustainable future.
