This week’s Coffee & Conversation took Kings Boston students on a fun and immersive adventure to the vibrant neighborhood of Coolidge Corner. Known for its independent bookstore, quirky shops, and iconic arthouse cinema, the area offered a perfect setting for students to practice English in real-world situations.
At a cozy Japanese café, students bonded over new foods and drinks. Erika from Brazil was skeptical about matcha lattes but quickly warmed up to onigiri! These casual outings are more than just social, they’re a chance to build friendships, experience local culture, and use English naturally outside the classroom.
After their cultural and culinary discoveries, the group hopped on the train back to downtown Boston.
