Kings Oxford take on OIC in their termly football match

See how our Kings Oxford football team got on during their friendly match against local rivals OIC in their termly fixture at the Oxford Brookes University Sports Grounds.

Despite not winning the boys displayed excellent sportsmanship, skill and technique. Just proving that their weekly training sessions with Rama where they work together as a team, practise their communication skills on the pitch really does help!

A special mention must got to Valentina who took to the pitch to help defend in goal for the second half of the match. She was the only woman on the pitch a displayed strong courage, and was able to steer the team back together, and stay positive. She also saved a number of goals which were shot on target making sure the score didn't take too much of a dramatic turn - well done you!

A huge thank you also, to all the students who came down to support and cheer on the team, your presence meant a great deal - until next time!
