This June, our students embarked on a meaningful journey to the nation’s capital—Washington, D.C.—where history, culture, and scenic beauty came together for an unforgettable day of exploration.
The trip began with visits to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the powerful Lincoln Memorial and the White House. As students stood in the footsteps of history, they reflected on the legacy of leadership and the enduring values that shape our country. With each stop, they gained new insights into the stories and symbols that define the American experience.
In addition to these historic sites, students took in the vibrant culture and natural beauty that D.C. has to offer. From tree-lined walkways to expansive green spaces, the city’s landscapes offered a refreshing change of pace and a perfect backdrop for reflection and connection.
No trip to Washington would be complete without a taste of its diverse culinary scene. Students enjoyed trying new dishes from local vendors and restaurants, sampling flavors that reflected the city’s rich cultural tapestry. From classic bites to bold, modern takes on regional favorites, every meal was an adventure in itself.
The day was filled with learning, laughter and connection. As students explored together—whether pausing for a group photo at the city landmarks or sharing their favorite bites from lunch—they created memories that will last a lifetime.
