Kings London recently celebrated their wonderful community with the annual ‘Kings Got Talent’ event. Students, staff, host families and special guests all enjoyed an evening of dance, music, song and comedy, all whilst enjoying homemade pizza (prepared by our wonderful chef).
Over the course of the evening, both students and staff performed to much laughter, surprise and riotous applause.
Through a combination of ticket sales and very kind donations, the event raised over £150 for our charity, Their World, bringing our total so far to almost £2,000.
Students chatted to Kings London Principal, Danny Carroll after the event where students said things like, “I never knew my teachers were so talented and funny.” As well as “I’m so pleased I decided to perform. I was so nervous but when the audience started to cheer, it felt amazing!” another student said, “It was such an incredible evening, everyone had so much fun!”
A huge well done to everyone both staff and students who performed in ‘Kings Got Talent’ it was an incredible evening, and opportunity for the school to come together to support one another as well as an incredible cause. Thanks again to anyone who came down to support, donated or performed – we couldn’t have done it without you!
