Kings Boston Students Explore Northeastern University

Kings Boston students on their trip to Northeastern University

Kings Boston students recently visited Northeastern University, a prestigious private research university located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. The group took the city’s iconic Green Line train from Arlington Station to Northeastern’s campus station, ready to explore.

Their first stop was Krentzman Quadrangle, a green space that functions both as part of the university’s arboretum and a central hub leading to several academic buildings. It was the perfect spot for the group to pause and snap a photo together.

Next, the students visited the Northeastern University bookstore. Beyond just textbooks, the store offered a wide variety of merchandise, school supplies, and magazines. Students enjoyed browsing through the apparel and comparing Northeastern-branded clothing to their own styles. They also discovered that Northeastern’s mascot is Paws the Husky, whose image appeared on plenty of the merchandise.

The tour continued across the ISEC pedestrian bridge, which spans the Orange Line train tracks, leading the students to the state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC). Inside, the modern design and innovative atmosphere made an impression. The group ambitiously climbed the spiral staircase to the sixth floor—only to decide afterward that the elevator was a welcome option for the trip back down! From the top, they caught a stunning glimpse of the Boston skyline.

After an exciting and insightful day, the students returned to the Green Line. When asked if they would like to study at Northeastern in the future, one enthusiastic student replied, “Yes!”
