Students at Kings Brighton recently came together to celebrate International Women's Day, reflecting on the women who inspire them most.
As part of the celebration, students contributed to a shared board where they could write about the women who have influenced their lives. Many chose to highlight family members such as mothers and sisters, while others wrote about teachers, public figures, and global role models who motivate them to pursue their goals.
Alongside these personal reflections, the activity also introduced students to influential women from around the world. Through these stories, students learned more about women who have made an impact in fields such as science, politics, education, and social change.
The board quickly filled with thoughtful messages, creating a space for students to share inspiration, recognise achievements, and celebrate the role women play in shaping our communities.
Activities like this help encourage reflection, discussion, and global awareness within the Kings community, making International Women’s Day a meaningful moment for students to recognise the people who inspire them every day.
Happy International Women's Day from Kings!
