You will receive an email notifying you when you can log in to the Test Taker Portal to access your results online.
Your official IELTS result takes the form of a Test Report Form (TRF).
You will receive a paper TRF. TRFs are normally sent out by first-class post 13 days after the date of your IELTS test on paper.
We are only permitted to issue TRFs by post or personally by hand to you. We are not permitted to send paper TRFs by fax or email or to give results over the telephone.
We are permitted to issue only one paper TRF directly to you. We can send duplicate TRFs directly to universities or institutions for you.
You will be able to download an e-TRF in your Test Taker Portal within 1-5 days after the date of your IELTS test on computer. You will not receive a paper TRF for IELTS test on computer.
You will be able to download a new e-TRF in your Test Taker Portal within 1-5 days after the date of your One Skill Retake test. It will contain your One Skill Retake score. It will also include the scores from your original IELTS on computer test. Your One Skill Retake results will be valid for two years from
the original IELTS on computer test date, which you can find on your e-TRF. There will be no change to your other scores from your original IELTS on computer test. Once you’ve received your results, if you would prefer to use your original scores, you can – both e-TRFs will be valid.
If you need to prove your test result (for example to a university or employer), you can ask us to send a duplicate of your TRF directly to them. We are not permitted to give the duplicate to you.
To request this, please email ielts@kingseducation.com. State your name as it appears on your TRF and the date you took the test.
We are permitted to issue up to five duplicate TRFs free of charge. If you ask us to issue more than five TRFs, we will make an administrative charge of £10 for each additional hard copy TRF requested over and above the free allocation.
If you wish to collect your TRF in person, please email ielts@kingseducation.com after you have booked your test. In this case, your TRF will be held at the Test Centre, not posted. You must present the same identity document as you showed on the day of the test when collecting your TRF in person.
If you did not receive the score you expected, you can submit an online request for your test to be re-marked.
There is a fee of £120 for this service. The fee is re-funded if there is a change to your results.
You need to submit your EOR request online no later than 6 weeks after the test date.
The outcome of your Enquiry on Results (EOR) can become available on the same day as your application and up to 21 days after your application. The turnaround time of your application will depend on several factors, including the number of sections requested for remark. Please contact us by email ielts@kingseducation.com if you have not received a response after 21 days.
You can submit an EOR request via your Test Taker Portal. If you wish us to submit an EOR request on your behalf, please send us an email to ielts@kingseducation.com.
Before we can process your EOR request we will need to receive a full payment of an EOR fee.
If you wish to pay for your EOR request by bank transfer, please contact us by email (ielts@kingseducation.com) and we will send you our bank details.
You can also pay in person at our Test Centre (Kings Oxford, 21 St Michaels street, Oxford, OX1 2EB) or by calling us on 01865711829.
Thank you for your enquiry.
We'll be in touch soon.
