Working as a Business Apprentice at Kings London
Billy Eyre works with the Kings London team as a Business Apprentice, We recently caught up with him to get his thoughts on Kings, and what makes the school and its location so great for students.
Hi Billy. How long have you worked at Kings and did you do prior to joining?
I have been working at Kings since May 2019. Prior to joining Kings I worked as a Receptionist for an International Freight Services Company.
Is this the first time you have worked in an international setting and what do you enjoy most about it?
As mentioned, I have worked for an international freight service company. I really enjoy working in international environments because I get to meet people from all corners of the world.
What would you say are the best aspects of Kings London and why do you think it’s a good place to study?
My favourite part about Kings is that there’s great opportunities for growth and achievement for staff and students.
How would you describe Beckenham and what makes it a great place for international students?
Beckenham is a great place for students as it is very easy to commute to inner London. It's is a safe urban environment with a great community feeling.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cycling, playing football and making music.
Where is the best place you’ve visited?
My favourite place is Tower Bridge because you get to walk over the Thames and go past the Tower of London and there’s lots of rich history dating as far back to the Roman Empire.
Which well-known figure would you most like to invite to dinner and why?
I would choose to have dinner with Elon Musk because I am really fascinated by everything he has invented and I also think he could offer some great wisdom.
