Christmas tree light-up and carol singing in New York

Student Experience Coordinator at Kings New York Jocelyn Vega reports back on a popular campus event attended by Kings students earlier this month.

On December 8th all Kings students were invited to our campus Christmas tree lighting. Delighted by the joys of the season, we illuminated the live, 50-foot spruce tree with over 3,600 lights.

We sang Christmas carols, listened to amazing performances by the College of Mount Saint Vincent Words Vocals, a blessing from Campus Ministry, and free hot chocolate to keep us warm. We sang songs like “We wish you a Merry Christmas”, “Jingle Bells’, and “Joy to the World”.

All the students had an amazing time coming together and lighting the tree.
