Kate Montgomery
"I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1992 with an MA in Fine Art. Prior to this I was awarded a BFA (Oxon) in 1988 studying at The Ruskin School of Art as a scholar at St John’s College Oxford.
"I have 30 years of Art & Design teaching experience: previously at Central St Martins where I ran Foundation Painting and Fine Art, and latterly at University of Brighton (Northbrook College) where I taught on the Fashion, Textiles, Fashion Media & Promotion and Fine Art degree programmes.
"I have also been a visiting lecturer at Chelsea College of Arts, Camberwell College of Arts, Ravensbourne, The Prince of Wales’ Institute of Architecture and Brighton Museum and Art Gallery.
"I am also a painter who exhibits internationally. I am currently represented by Long & Ryle Gallery, London, Sarah O’Kane Contemporary Art, Lewes, and Le Salon Vert, Geneva."
Carol Seatory
"I am an illustrator, graphic designer and textiles designer-maker. I have an MA in Narrative Illustration & Sequential Design and a PGCE in Art & Design from University of Brighton. In addition I hold a BA (Hons) in Illustration & Graphic Design from Norwich School of Art.
"I have worked as a freelance and in-house illustrator and graphic designer since 1990. Since 2000, I have been teaching part-time on levels 4, 5 & 6 creative arts honours degree courses and, more recently, Level 3 students and school-age evening classes in fashion illustration.
"I currently hold permanent teaching posts at two UK universities as well as on the Foundation programmes at Kings Brighton."
Tess Zahn
"I graduated from Coventry University in 1997 with a BA in Fine Art, specialising in sculpture and installation. I also gained an MA in Photography from Brighton University in 2007.
"I have over 20 years' experience working as a freelance photographer focusing on family events, portraits and editorial. After completing my MA, I began teaching Art and Photography at Foundation level and continues to do so on various courses within the Art and Design education sector.
"I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with my students and helping them thrive on their creative journey.

Gary Thompson
"Graduating from the University of Brighton in 1986 with a BA qualification in Graphic Design, I have been actively involved in education for over 20 years.
"I work with a wide range of UK and overseas creative arts students from A-level up to Degree level and have been a practitioner for even longer. I started out as an illustrator, then became a graphic designer (working for clients such as Hodder & Stoughton, HarperCollins, EMI Classics, Armagh Planetarium, Little, Brown & Co, John Wiley & Sons, Elsevier Science and others).
"I was an early adopter of the Apple Mac to realise my creative work. I have developed my expertise with the platform and passed my knowledge on through teaching practice. Digital technology has always been a specialism of mine (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Apple iMovie, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro) alongside fundamental disciplines including composition, aesthetics and typography."
