Kings Wisconsin students enjoy some major league baseball

Kings Wisconsin student Manami Okuyama tells us her first experience of major league baseball!

On July 13 at 3 in the afternoon, we traveled to Milwaukee to watch Major League Baseball (MLB). I was looking forward to this day because I had never seen a professional baseball game at the stadium before. After half an hour driving, we arrived at American Family Field, which is known as Milwaukee Brewers’ home ground. There were some places to see before the game started, so I walked around there. I saw many shops selling delicious food, and I bought vanilla custard from the food stand.

The game was between the Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals. When the game began, the stadium was filled with cheers and applause. All the people in the stadium were glued to the game! The Brewers got off to a good start as they scored the first goal early in the game, but the Nationals caught up in the second half. The Brewers lost the game, but we could watch a nice game.

This trip will be one I will remember for the rest of my life.
