Kings Wisconsin students achieve Dean's List award in first semester

Min Chang Kang from South Korea and Wei-Ting “Emily” Wu from Taiwan began their first semester at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a fantastic start in fall 2021 by achieving the Deans List award for having a 3.8 GPA (grade point average) or higher. Congratulations to them both!

Both students are majoring in Computer Science and entering their second semester at UWO on the Oshkosh campus.

Emily was able to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA with all A’s in her classes.

“The professors are really good at UWO and teach really well. After graduating, I want to be a software engineer and work for a big company in the US for several years.”

Min Chang would like to focus on Artificial Intelligence and work for Google one day in the Research & Development field.

“The best part of UWO for me is making friends. I’m always on campus meeting people but I’m also challenged by the academics.”

As both students get ready to start their second semester at UWO, they are focused on continuing their academic success to enhance their student profile by joining the Computer Science Club, International Student Association, and becoming student workers on campus as a tutor. Emily will start her position as Math tutor on the Oshkosh campus for Spring 2022.

Kings Wisconsin continue to support students with their academics and guide them to different opportunities on campus which will further improve their chances on creating a strong application for Top 100 universities in the US.
