Since its inception in 1922, the Hollywood Bowl has not only hosted legendary performances but has also become a beloved gathering place for music lovers from around the world. Surrounded by the Hollywood Hills, the venue offers stunning views of the Hollywood sign and a magical ambiance that captures the essence of historic Los Angeles.
Some interesting things to note about this venue are that they allow you to bring in outside food, and drink. They also have a shuttle that takes you from Oviation Mall to the Bowl and back. The shuttle is only a 10-minute walk from campus. An upcoming event that is sure to be a hit is the fourth of July firework extravaganza they have every summer with a live orchestra. Additionally, this year’s lineup at the Hollywood Bowl promises something for everyone. Music fans can look forward to the Imagine Dragons concert, Cumbia Night, the Barbie Orchestra Live, and the celebration of David Foster’s 75th Birthday.
Recently, Saki, one of our students, had the opportunity to attend the renowned Jazz Fest at the Hollywood Bowl. She is a huge jazz fan and would love to study music here in the US. There’s no better place to experience the magic of entertainment than at the Hollywood Bowl.
