Kings Boston Students Experience the Prestige of Harvard

Kings Boston students recently enjoyed a tour around Harvard.

As part of their introduction to Boston’s public transportation system, students got the train to Cambridge, where they explored the exteriors of several notable Harvard buildings.

The tour began with a visit to the dormitory buildings, including Kirkland House, famously home to Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg during his time as a student. Next, the group stopped at the Harvard Lampoon, the historic home of the university’s undergraduate humor publication. The Lampoon boasts an impressive list of alumni, including comedians and writers like Conan O’Brien, Colin Jost, and B.J. Novak.

Students then passed the Harvard Crimson building, where former U.S. Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy once served as editors. The tour continued to the picturesque Harvard Yard, where they admired the grounds and visited the iconic John Harvard statue (pictured).

The visit concluded at the Harvard COOP, the university’s bookstore. Here, students explored the aisles, picking out books or Harvard-branded apparel before returning to the train station. This experience not only allowed students to explore a world-renowned campus but also helped them build confidence navigating Boston.
