Karaoke night at Kings Wisconsin

Karaoke night at Kings Wisconsin

It was recently karaoke night at Fox Village, which is on-campus student housing for UWO, and Fox Cities students.

It was a collaboration between Kings Wisconsin and Fox Village housing for students from both Fox Village and Aspen Ridge as well as GO: Prepared Program teacher Stephanie and Tirtha, who enjoyed the musical evening!

Students were excited to sing their hearts out, especially our GO: Prepared student Sean from Korea. He surprised all of us with his amazing singing skills that everyone was in awe of. Domestic student Josef, who was close friends with our students from Panama, sang songs dedicated to them as they are all back home after completing their studies. Some of the songs that were sung during the karaoke night were: World’s smallest violin - AJR, Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver (a karaoke classic), We are young - Fun ft. Janelle Monae, My Heart will go on – Celine Dion, let it go – Frozen, Sunday morning – Maroon 5, Sunflower – Post Malone, Swae Lee and many more.

It was an amazing evening to relax, spend quality time with friends and munch on snacks. Some of the students also won gift cards as prizes for their amazing performances. We hope to organize more Karaoke nights in the future because what better way to de-stress than to sing?
