100% of students confirm places at their first-choice universities!
As students nervously await their A-level results to finalise their university plans, some of our September start Advanced Level Foundation and Art and Design Foundation students have already received final confirmation of offers from their chosen universities.
Advanced Level Foundation and Art and Design Foundation students apply through UCAS just as A-level students, however their exams and coursework, while assessed by an external examining panel, is assessed in a quicker timeframe, meaning they are able to get university decisions ahead of those A-level students.
We are delighted to say that of the final confirmations so far, 100% of students got their first choice university!
And these universities include some of the very top in the UK with students confirming places at Warwick, Bristol, Durham and Manchester, among others.
54% of our students secured their places in the top 20 UK universities.
Students on our Art and Design Foundation have also received early confirmation of places and have achieved some amazing results. Multiple students have confirmed their place at the prestigious University of the Arts, London (UAL), with other students confirming places to study Animation in UWE Bristol (ranked in the top 3 for this course); Photography and Graphic Design in Kingston University, London, as well as students going to start their career in Fashion at Southampton University.
We congratulate all of our students on these brilliant achievements, all the more impressive given the unprecedented circumstances in which they completed their courses; and await with eager anticipation more good news for our remaining Kings’ students!
