Kings Wisconsin: Experiencing a music festival in the US

Kings Wisconsin students recently attended Summerfest in Milwaukee, which was once the record holder for the 'World's Largest Festival' from 1999-2015!

Students, alongside their English teacher, went to Milwaukee to attend this festival on a sunny but cool July day. They hopped on the Milwaukee Streetcar known as “The Hop” and passed by the Milwaukee River, a wide water system where you can see scenic boardwalks, pontoon party boats, and many white yachts that venture back and forth carrying people immersed in the summer revelry. They passed through the old charm of the Historic third ward, glanced, and made their way along the numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants where people enjoyed time with their friends.

Once they stood on Summerfest grounds, where 12 stages (both big and small) carried performers of different genres, they went and tried the festival dishes and experienced the culture of Milwaukee and the wider US. Along with the music and meals, they test rode electric bicycles, tried boating, and joined other booths offered by different companies and organizations to give them a day full of experiences to kick start their time in Wisconsin.
