This year once again, Kings students have received offers to a wide range of degrees within the medical field from prestigious UK institutions.
After enduring a lengthy application process involving additional interviews and aptitude tests (BMAT and UCAT) we’re delighted to see so many of our students receiving offers to study Medicine at excellent universities, including the University of Bristol which is currently ranked 5th for Medicine in the UK. Other universities to have issued offers include Aston University, King’s College London and the University of Manchester.
In addition to Medicine, students have applied for the following degrees within the medical field:
- Dentistry
- Nursing
- Cancer Research
- Biomedical Sciences
- Pharmacy
- Population Health Sciences
- Chiropractic study
Success, from Nigeria, has received offers to study Nursing from the University of East Anglia (ranked 21st in the UK), University of Essex. She has studied the Medical Foundation at Kings.
"I’m planning to study nursing at university, adult nursing especially. I’m doing it because I feel it’s really nice to help people – you don’t always have to be the doctor there, you can be someone who has.to help the doctors in taking care of people, adults and also children in different places, different countries. I know that all the nurses in the NHS are working hard and I feel that they need more people. “

Ellen is holding an offer for Chiropractic study at AECC University College, one of only 6 institutions in the UK that offer this type of highly specialised qualification. She has studied A-levels at Kings.
"It’s always a really positive vibe at Kings, everyone’s in a good place and they really want to do well, which is really motivating. I’m very determined to do really well and I’m focused and driven to do exactly that."

The path to a medical degree with Kings
Kings students will progress to medical degrees from both our A-level programme and the Medical Foundation, a one-year programme which enables students to apply directly from Kings to a medical degree at one of our partner universities.
Kings’ medical pathway partners to have issued offers so far include Aston, Brunel, and St. George’s University.
