On Friday the 19th of July Kings Oxford hosted a charity BBQ to raise money for Theirworld. With over 85 students and staff in attendance it was a lively, fun, and extremely hot summer’s evening!
Two members of the activities team mixed on the decks all evening, providing some great music and an energetic atmosphere. Students enjoyed playing cards, chess, table tennis and table football throughout the night.
Later in the evening a karaoke corner was set up where students could belt out their favourite tunes, which proved very popular! The food was prepared on our new BBQ and chief chef was the wonderful Facilities Manager Lee who expertly cooked delicious meat and vegetarian options for everyone.
All in all, it was hugely enjoyable evening where the Kings Oxford community got together to support and raise money for a fantastic cause. An impressive £647.07 was raised in total!
