Michael, an international student from Indonesia at Kings Wisconsin at UW Oshkosh, shares his unforgettable skiing and snowboarding adventure in the Cascade Mountains.
"On Saturday, February 22, Kings took us on an unforgettable trip to the Cascade Mountains for some skiing and snowboarding. I decided to try skiing, while my friends went snowboarding. For most of us, it was our first time tackling the slopes, and let’s just say, we all had our fair share of wipeouts. I kept sliding into ditches, and one of my friends had to take off his snowboard and walk down when he got stuck! Despite the rough start, we slowly got the hang of it and started feeling more confident.
Things took a wild turn when one of my friends, who's pretty skilled at skiing, accidentally got lost on one of the higher trails. He ended up facing one of the steepest hills on the mountain, which made for an intense adventure! But all in all, by the end of the day, we were all grinning from ear to ear. It was a total blast, full of laughs, falls, and amazing memories!"
