A summer to remember at Kings Bournemouth

This summer at Kings Bournemouth was a vibrant blend of learning, adventure, and unforgettable experiences.

The GCSE Summer Camp kicked off the season, offering intensive lessons designed to help students reach their academic goals while enjoying the beautiful seaside setting. One of our students, Alice, shared her experience on our Instagram page. You can check it out here!

Beyond the classroom, students participated in a wide range of activities that made their summer truly special. The Young Learners Summer School was full of energy, offering everything from laser tag and volleyball to creative sessions like tote bag designing and a mocktail party. Fun competitions, such as the table tennis tournament, saw students competing for prizes, while outings to bowling and mini golf added to the excitement.

The school also organised trips to famous destinations, including Winchester, Stonehenge, London, Brighton, Bath, Thorpe Park, and Oxford. These excursions allowed students to explore historic sites, experience British culture, and create lasting memories with new friends.

A significant highlight of the summer was the successful fundraising campaign for Theirworld, a charity dedicated to ensuring all children have access to quality education. The generosity and enthusiasm of our students and staff made a real difference.

The summer concluded with a small yet heartfelt graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of those finishing their courses. As they move forward, these students carry with them not only academic knowledge but also a summer filled with joy, growth, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
