Bournemouth is a place that is known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, its universities and emerging arts scene. And of course its world-renowned beach!

Here is just a small selection of the variety of events happening in and around the town this autumn.

Live entertainment at Bournemouth Pavilion or the Bournemouth International Centre

Between them, these two popular arts venues in Bournemouth have a wide range of music, comedy, theatre and dance to enjoy this autumn. Visit https://www.bhlivetickets.co.uk/whats-on/ to find out more.

Bournemouth and Poole Selfie Wall Trail

Enjoy a seaside walk with a difference this autumn! Bournemouth and Poole's award-winning seafront has been transformed into a work of art, with a variety of artists creating a series of murals that make fun and colourful backdrops for selfies. The Selfie Wall Trail stretches from Sandbanks all the way to Southbourne and takes in a host of cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy refreshments along the way.

BFX Festival

Held at the Bournemouth International Centre, BFX is recognised as one of the world's premier animation, film and games festivals, attracting collaborators from around the world. This annual festival features educational and inspirational presentations that highlight the amazing work of the creative and technical artists behind the latest blockbuster movies and games.

Westbourne Farmers' Market

On the first Saturday of the month Landseer Road is transformed into an outdoor Farmer's Market. Westbourne is the backdrop for a fabulous selection of artisan breads, vegetables, cheese, meats, plants and much more. Enjoy the relaxed ambience and some award-winning food stalls!

Autumn colours at one of the many parks or the New Forest National Park

When autumn leaves start to fall in Bournemouth and warm sun-kissed colours descend on the destination, there are many places around town to enjoy the scenery, including the Bournemouth gardens. For something more wild, head to the nearby New Forest (easily accessible by train) to see the colours in even more spectacular glory.
